How It All Started
Our History
Water Cycle AtX was born out of a love for Austin’s vibrant outdoor culture and the desire to create something fun and eco-friendly for the community. While exploring new business ideas, founder Moe Balde was inspired by the growing trend of water sports in the city, particularly around Lady Bird Lake. Wanting to offer something unique that blended fitness, fun, and nature, Moe envisioned water biking as the perfect activity to get people out on the water in a sustainable way. With a passion for creating memorable experiences and promoting a healthy lifestyle, Water Cycle AtX was launched, making it easy for locals and visitors alike to explore Austin’s iconic waterways.
